Submissions

For our first issue, we’re looking to publish collapse realism. Not the apocalypse, but the apocalyptic. We’re not dramatic people, but are very interested in the world crumbling and our ability to reshape our environments without heroics in non-utopian, non-dystopian ways.

How do you dance when you want to draw attention to yourself, how do you move when you need to escape? How often do you look at others? to others? out for others?

We’re looking for the hyper-prepared wise, the dumb managing to survive anyway. The dumb often surviving better. Go-bags, knowledge of local ecology, and the still-breathing natural world. Think Davey Davis, full of neuroses, unsuccessfully ignoring the rot in the background in favor of internal problems.

We are trans and love trans content. We do not care about your transition.

You don’t have to be trans to submit but if you’re cis you do have to be able to hang.

Careful about putting she/they in your bio.

Submit up to 10 pages of poetry in doc.x or .pdf format, or 4000 words of fiction (doublespaced, 12 point font) in .docx format to imposter-review@proton.me

Simultaneous subs are cool, just let us know yadi-ya-yada. Reprints are maybe cool, just let us also know when and where in your email.
